Community Guidelines
Be respectful
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation.
- No hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or nationality.
- Disagree with the idea, not the person.
Keep it text only
- Messages are limited to plain text, up to 500 characters.
- Photos, video, audio, files, stickers, and GIF uploads are not supported anywhere in the app.
- Do not use links or text to route people to explicit or harmful material.
Objectionable content is not tolerated
- No sexually explicit content or solicitation.
- No content that promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity.
- No spam, scams, or repetitive promotional messaging.
- No sharing of anyone's private information, including your own.
How we moderate
- Every new topic is reviewed by a moderator before it becomes public.
- You can report any message from the menu next to it. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
- You can block any user instantly; you will stop seeing their messages.
- Moderators can delete messages, lock topics, and remove accounts that break these rules.
- A cooldown between messages limits flooding and abuse.
Enforcement
Depending on severity, we may warn you, remove your content, lock you out of a topic, or permanently terminate your account. Serious violations may be reported to authorities.
Privacy Policy
What we collect
- An anonymous device identifier (a random UUID) generated on your device the first time you open the app.
- Your display name.
- Topics you submit and messages you post.
- Reports and blocks you create.
- Basic technical data such as timestamps needed to enforce cooldowns and moderation.
What we do not collect
- We never request access to your camera, photo library, microphone, contacts, or location.
- We do not accept photos, video, audio, or file uploads of any kind.
- We do not sell your personal data.
How we use it
We use your data to operate the service: creating your anonymous session, showing approved topics, delivering messages in real time, enforcing message limits, and reviewing reports.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deleting removes your profile, submissions, and messages from the live service. Limited records may be retained where required for safety or legal obligations.

Acceptance
By using YouWalkie, you agree to these Terms and to our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use YouWalkie.
Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.
Zero tolerance for abusive content
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or spam. We review reports and remove offending content and users, typically within 24 hours.
Your content
- You are responsible for everything you post.
- You grant us a licence to store and display your messages within the service.
- We may remove any content or lock any topic at our discretion.
Service limits
- Messages are text only and limited to 500 characters.
- A cooldown applies between messages and is enforced by our servers.
- New topics are published only after moderator approval.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breaking these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use.
Contact & Support
Report a message or user
Open the menu next to any message and choose Report. Moderators review every report, usually within 24 hours.
You can also block a user from the same menu. Blocking hides their messages immediately.
Common questions
Why isn't my topic visible?
New topics stay in Pending review until a moderator approves them. Track status in My submissions.
Why can't I send a message?
There is a 10-second cooldown between messages. The send button shows a countdown.
Can I send photos?
No. YouWalkie is text-only by design.
Account deletion
Delete your account any time from Profile → Delete account. If you need help, email us.
